Our Offerings
Getting Ready for Your Move
When you schedule your move with us, be sure to give as specific of information as you can about the items being moved and the load/unload locations. Will there be multiple flights of stairs, elevator, a long walk from the truck to the building? All of these help us give you a better estimate of how much time your move will take.
The more preparation you put into the move the faster our guys will be able to get you into your new house. Having boxes already packed and ready to go. Surfaces of furniture clear of clutter. Items that will stay behind being clearly marked or separated from items that will go. Our guys are happy to disassemble beds, mirrors from dressers, dining tables. If you have time and are able to do this before we arrive it will save us time and you money. Empty the junk drawers from your dressers and night stands.
Be extremely clear on the walkthrough when the guys arrive. They are great at remembering everything and where it goes at the new place. It’s not fun for them when they finish packing the truck and a full closet or basement wasn’t shown to them at the beginning, so be very thorough in the walkthrough.
Equipment
All of our crews come with hand trucks, floor dollies, tools for disassembly and ratchet straps to tie down items in the truck.
Oversized Items
We do charge and additional fee of $300 for oversized items over 250lbs like upright pianos and gunsafes. If you are unsure of how much your piece weighs give us a call and we can figure it out with you. We don’t move grand pianos or pool tables.
Bad Weather?
We work rain or shine. Due to having a busy schedule, it can be difficult to adjust your move depending on the weather. We do a great job of making sure items are wrapped to protect from the rain. If we are unloading for you and it’s raining, having a towel handy to wipe items off as they come inside is a good idea.
Labor Only
This is for customers who only need a few guys to show up and move their belongings in/out of a truck. The customer is expected to provide the truck and box up as much as possible before the moving date.
We provide hand trucks, dollies and tools for disassembly of furniture.
Full Service Moving Package
We take care of everything. Our movers come out with a truck sized to your needs, provide blankets, plastic wrap, dollies, hand trucks and tools for disassembly of furniture.
